Great cute place ! the food was so good, we didn't wait too much for it to come so it was really nice :)
I've got the ramen and it was so flavorful and the portions were quite large :)
The service is slow. We have to wait 1 hour to get the meal. When they bring out the meal, they put all to one dish in spread of separate order.
Classical Japanese restaurant!
The decoration of this small store reminds me of my childhood.
Maguro-salmon don is good and fresh with warm vinegar rice and a piece of oba leaf.
Unadon is also good but the sauce might be a bit salty.
The chashu don and inari sushi is fine.
Ice cream is handmade and tasty.
If you have ever been in Japan, then you will immediately know. This place is real, the food is true. I don't think there is a better japanese restaurant in Montpellier.
The ramen are amazing, the sushis are probably the best in a 50km radius, and the other meals are just authentic.
A true japanese restaurant, were the chef is japanese and the care is real.
Delicious food , lovely design and very friendly service ! 🥰
A good bowl of tonkotsu ramen — rich broth, ajitsuke tamago just nice, tasty menma. BUT let down by the chashu — slightly over cooked so a little dry, but definitely under marinated. A shame as you can tell it is quality meat, and the rest of the bowl is delicious.
Excellent cocktails and good service.
After week of eating French food I went to try this Japanese restaurant some friends recommended me. I tried the ramen very tasty great service staff are friendly good atmosphere.
It is a good place to get a taste of Japanese food.
Took 10 minutes before we could be seated even when we had a reservation and there were empty seats. Food and drinks came rather fast after ordering. The broth of the tonkotsu ramen was rich and creamy. The menma and shoyu egg were delicious, in my opinion the bean sprouts were out of place and should've been swapped with thinly sliced green onions, wood ear mushrooms or bokchoy (but to each their own).
The only thing that definitely could be improved is the pork chashu which was incredibly dry and very bland. Chashu should be tender, melt in your mouth or fall apart. Moreover, it is a critical topping a sweet-savory meat that gives an extra punch to the ramen. The chashu that I got seemed nothing like that. I left the establishment rather disappointed, guess I was expecting a bit better for a ramen restaurant that scores a 4.8.
A 3,5*, but google doesn't let me give half stars, so I'll give 4 stars because I believe these things can definitely be improved.
-service;
-opting for different toppings;
-improving the chashu recipe so that it isn't dry and tastes like something.
